Civic LX

The 2017 Honda Civic LX is the base model in the lineup, but it is anything but entry-level. It comes standard with a 158-horsepower 2-liter 4-cylinder engine paired with a 6-speed manual or a CVT. The exterior of this model helps you stand out with LED taillights and LED daytime running lights, along with automatic headlights and 16-inch alloy wheels. The driver's side mirror even offers an expanded view. Inside the Civic LX, the rear seats split 60/40 and fold down, and you get full power accessories plus cruise control. Other interior features on this model across the body styles include automatic climate control and height adjustment for the driver with manual front seats. Even with its low starting price, this Civic has a rearview camera, Bluetooth* for audio and your phone, a USB port, and a 5-inch central display.

Civic Sport

You will only find the 2017 Civic Sport offered on the hatchback body style. This trim builds on the LX trim but with a bit more power. It also has a center-outlet dual exhaust, 18-inch alloy wheels, aerodynamic bodywork, and fog lights. Interior changes include leather on the shift knob and steering wheel, plus a rear center armrest complete with cup holders.

Civic EX

Those interested in the Civic Sedan or Coupe who are looking for bit more features than the LX might want to consider the Civic EX. This trim comes standard with the CVT, heated side mirrors, and a sunroof. It also gets the rear center armrest and cup holders from the Civic Sport Hatchback, plus keyless entry/ignition and remote start. Most of the upgrades for the 2017 Civic EX are technology-related, including dual USB ports, eight speakers, Honda LaneWatch, dynamic guidelines on the rearview camera, a 7-inch touchscreen, Pandora internet radio, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and HondaLink.

Civic EX-T

The big difference between the 2017 Honda Civic EX-T and lower trims is its 174-horsepower 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. You can pick from the CVT and manual transmission. Although the turbocharged engine is the biggest draw for the EX-T trim, it also gives you heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and fog lights.

Civic EX-L

The Honda Civic EX-L builds on the EX-T but is more luxurious and only available with the CVT. This trim gives the driver 8-way power adjustment and upgrades to leather upholstery. It throws in integrated navigation and an automatically dimming rearview mirror.

Civic Sport Touring

Like the Civic Sport, the Sport Touring trim is only offered on the hatchback model. It builds on the Sport trim but in a way that gives you many of the features of other sedan and hatchback trims. These include automatic wipers, LED headlights, unique wheels, heated rear seats, 4-way power for the front passenger, and 12 speakers. It also comes standard with Honda Sensing, the suite of safety features that is optional on lower trims.

Civic Touring

The top-of-the-line 2017 Honda Civic Touring is nearly identical to the Civic Sport Touring but for the sedan or coupe. The only difference is that the stereo features a reasonable 10 speakers instead of the 12 found on the Sport Touring.
