What's New In The 2022 Honda HR-V?

The 2022 Honda HR-V features no major changes. The HR-V underwent a redesign in 2019 that refreshed the exterior, added more available safety and technology features, and introduced the Sport and Touring trim levels. Minor updates were made in 2021, which included new wheel designs on the Sport, EX, and EX-L trims and the addition of privacy glass on the Sport.

The HR-V's interior centers around either a standard 5-inch or available 7-inch infotainment touchscreen. Standard infotainment features include a four-speaker stereo system, a USB port, and more. Available features include Android Auto and Apple CarPlay®, an additional USB port, a six-speaker stereo system, high-definition radio, automatic climate control, a push-button start, proximity keyless entry, a moonroof, and more. The HR-V can seat up to five people.

The HR-V is powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 141 horsepower. The engine is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission.

The HR-V offers a range of driver assistance features, including road departure mitigation, front and rear parking sensors, automatic high beams, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control.

The HR-V is offered in four trims: LX, Sport, EX, and EX-L.
