Having a small pebble or rock fly up and hit your windshield at some point is likely to happen to you. It is almost a part of driving. What is frustrating is when that small pebble causes a crack in the windshield. You might not think it is a big deal, but it needs to be taken care of right away.
Small cracks can quickly become a major issue. In addition, if the crack is in your line of vision then your local law may require that it be repaired before you start driving again.
