Honda is giving students a chance to learn and grow with real life experiences in the automotive industry. The Japanese car company has a unique and challenging learning opportunity available for students attending historically black colleges or universities (HBCU ). Those chosen to participate in the internship, located at Honda’s Torrance, California headquarters, will get the opportunity to boost skills such as team-building, project management, and presentation.

The HCASC summer intern program is open to sophomores, juniors or seniors. Honda offers a competitive hourly wage and the four students selected to participate will work a 40-hour work week. The program is 10 weeks long from early June through early August. Some areas of study include marketing, export sales, product planning and communications.

Who Is Qualified?

  • Sophomores, juniors and seniors who have a 3.0 GPA or above
  • Must be able to attend the Honda Campus All-Star Challenge program
  • Students attending an HBCU and you’re participating in the Honda Campus All-Star Challenge (HCASC) program
