When Honda appeared on stage at the New York Auto Show to reveal the tenth generation Civic, there was widespread excitement throughout the automotive industry. The performance-minded approach to the popular model was only one of the many changes to the Honda lineup that was to come. Along with the addition of a hot new model, and the discontinuation of another, the Honda lineup is entering the 2016 model year with a lot of changes coming.
Just recently Honda confirmed that the short-lived and awkwardly styled Honda Crosstour would be cancelled. The end of the nameplate wasn't entirely unexpected, as the Crosstour failed to sell well and also couldn’t quite match the popularity of its predecessors.
The new addition to the Honda lineup comes in the form of the exciting HR-V, Honda's compact crossover built on their international compact platform. Honda released the following video as an April fool's joke and while it is hilarious and the features are not real, it does give a glimpse of the cavernous interior of the vehicle.
