When it comes to the manufacture of safe vehicles, the Honda brand has proven their prominence time and time again with a plethora of Top Safety Pick ratings from the IIHS. Recently, the Japanese automaker proved their commitment to the continued safety of occupants on the 2015 Honda Fit.
When put through the series of IIHS tests, the 2015 Fit scored "good" on all except for the difficult small-front overlap test. Honda decided that this wasn't up to their standard of safety excellence, and restyled the front bumper of the 2015 Fit before having it go through the test again. This time, it earned a score of "acceptable" and was named a Top Safety Pick by the IIHS.
