The 2019 Honda Pilot
The 2019 Honda Pilot comes in five trim levels: LX, EX, EX-L, Touring, and Elite. You'll find a wide array of features spread across each trim. In fact, new for 2019 is the fact that the Honda Sensing suite comes standard for each trim. This means you get excellent safety features no matter which trim you choose. When it comes to the engine, all trims come with a 3.5-liter V6 that produces 280 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The Touring and Elite trims come with a nine-speed transmission.
The tech-savvy Pilot gets you a variety of infotainment options. For instance, you receive Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, satellite radio, a 10-speaker premium audio system, and more. No packages are offered with the Pilot. However, there is an EX-L subtrim that adds a rear entertainment system, a navigation system, Blu-ray player, and more.
The 2019 Chevrolet Traverse
With a redesign in 2018, the Traverse doesn't bring many new features to the table for 2019. It still offers seven trims: L, LS, LT Cloth, LT Leather, RS, Premier, and High Country. The standard engine is a 3.6-liter V6 that delivers 310 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque. It comes paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The RS trim gets you a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that generates 257 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque.
The Traverse provides a spacious cabin that gives you and your passengers plenty of room. In addition to this, the Traverse is packed with features. Despite being offered in seven trim levels, some of the features are only available with packages. For instance, the Driver Confidence II package gets you lane departure warning and intervention, forward collision alert, and automatic emergency braking.
