Honda Pilot Deals

The Honda Pilot is a practical and stylish mid-size SUV, built with the modern family in mind. The three-row SUV has a lot to offer in the way of accommodations.  Across Honda's full line-up of vehicles, the Pilot is one of the larger models and slots in just below the Honda Odyssey when it comes to size. Although the Honda Pilot doesn't quite have the Odyssey's expansive amount of space, its cabin still boasts liberal room, especially for a midsize SUV. This model also has more than decent fuel economy, a long list of standard infotainment features, and a host of standard safety and driver assistance features.

If the Honda Pilot piques your interest, come learn more about the mid-size SUV at Barbour-Hendrick Honda Greenville to explore the newest model. Our team of knowledgeable representatives will help you find the year model and trim that suits your lifestyle and budget.

What's New In The 2022 Honda Pilot?

The 2022-year model of the Honda Pilot has a few significant changes. The LX and EX trim have been dropped from the line-up and the new, feature-packed Sport trim replaces the LX as the base model. The 2021 Special Edition's nine-speed automatic transmission is now standard across the entire lineup replacing the lower trim's six-speed from the previous year. The 2022 Pilot seats between seven and eight people comfortably and has a wealth of cargo space. Behind the rear seat, the Pilot has 18.5 cubic feet of space. With the rear seats down, space expands to 55.9 cubic feet of space and with all of the seats folded the Pilot has a whopping 109.2 cubic feet of cargo space. The total cargo space has enough room to fit even small furniture if needed.

Under the hood, the Honda Pilot has a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 280-horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. The engine produces strong acceleration and allows the Pilot to tow up to 5000 pounds.

The Pilot's interior is outfitted in high-quality materials that range from cloth upholstery and soft plastics in the base model to leather upholstery when you bump up to the EX-L trim. The standard infotainment system has an 8-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto, and satellite radio. Available interior features include a moonroof, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a rearview camera.

History of the Honda Pilot

The Honda Pilot debuted in 2003 to great reviews and was named the "Best Large SUV" by Car and Driver. Since then, it has continued to be one of the top contenders in the mid-size SUV class. The Pilot has always been modeled to suit large families with seating for eight passengers and a towing capacity of 4500 pounds in its first model year. The second generation of the Honda Pilot had a boxy exterior design and introduced a fuel-efficient V-6 engine and an available power liftgate. Notable changes made in the current generation of the Honda Pilot are the curvier exterior design, nine-speed automatic transmission, and the introduction of a touchscreen infotainment system.
